Biography for Ann Longknife, Ph.D. --

Ann Longknife has 30 years of teaching experience. She has taught a wide variety of courses, including ESL, Freshman Composition, various literature survey courses and Critical Thinking at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, the University of Houston and currently at the College of San Mateo in California. She also works as a freelance editor for various clients. Her book The Art of Styling Sentences, written with K D Sullivan, was published by Barron’s in August 2002. In addition, she has prepared and taught courses in Business English for Solem & Associates, a PR firm in San Francisco; Ashton Partners, an Investor Relations firm in Chicago; and for the County of Alameda, California. She has a Ph.D. from the University of Houston.
